Charity/Välgörenhet

During my vacation in Crete (one of Greece's most beautiful islands) I saw lots of homeless cats and dogs and felt I needed to do something to help them. When I sought help for a cat family I also found a new friend who loves animals like me.

I love art but I also love animals. I have long wondered how I could combine these two things.

Alexandra and her mom from the McQueens Rescues made a huge impression on me and saw what a fantastic job they do for homeless cats and decided to sell some of the items in the store as charity. The entire amount of the charity items will go to McQueens rescues and every person who contributes by buying something in the PapayaRebel store will receive a proof receipt for the transaction to the cat shelter.

Items that are part of the charity project will have a blue frame with the McQueens logo in the upper right corner. This way you will be able to more easily distinguish which items are sold for charity and which organization they go to.

If you do not want to buy anything, you can go to the McQueens Rescues page on Facebook or Instagram where you can find a Paypal link to donate an amount of your choice ore klick on the picture below.

Together we can make a change.

On the beautiful island of Harbour Island in the Bahamas, there is a small clinic that saves lives. It helps all the animals on the island that are homeless, injured or in need of some kind of help. The clinic is run by a fantastic woman by the name Lisa and gets help from a warm-hearted volunteer girl who helps with the animals. Both of them help, care for and find new loving homes for the animals.

Considering the number of millionaires and billionaires on the island, you wish someone could contribute with help or donations, but unfortunately that is not the case. This clinic is run solely by donations and help from the locals and possible tourists.

If you are on the island and find a homeless or suffering animal, contact this clinic. You can be anonymous. The animals have no human voice, but we humans do and should therefore help those who are so dependent on our help and empathy to survive.

Below you will find all the information you need. On their website you can also donate a penny. Every penny counts. Every help counts. Please share the post. Maybe it will reach someone who has the ability and empati to make a big difference.
