A Plupp doll. Plupp is a small troll who lives among the high mountains in Lapland. Inga Borg (1925–2017) is the author and illustrator of Plupp.
The books about Plupp have been translated into several languages. A total of 27 books about Plupp have been published. In 2015, Plupp celebrated its 60th anniversary.
In the stories about Plupp, you learn about the seasons in the north, often from the point of view of an animal. Plupp can talk to animals, and Hermelin and Lämmel are Plupp's closest friends. You can recognize Plupp by his blue hair and red nose, and he lives in a peat hut by a lake called Blåvattnet.
