SEA Glasbruk was a glassworks located in Kosta, in the municipality of Lessebo within the Småland "Kingdom of Glass." The glassworks was founded in 1956. Since 1986, SEA has operated as an independent subsidiary of the Orrefors Group, which became part of Orrefors Kosta Boda in 1990.

The Kosta Boda brand as we know it today was formed through the merger of the glassworks in Kosta, Boda, and Åfors (and has been part of Orrefors Kosta Boda AB since 1989).
This suggests that the sculpture was created sometime between 1956 and 1986. Stylistically, I would estimate it dates to the 1970s or 1980s.
