Fyll en vanlig plastflaska med skruvkork helt med vatten och låt flaskdjävulen, även känd som den kartesiska dansande djävulen, som upptäcktes 1640, glida ner i den.
Tryck nu på sidan av plastflaskan – så börjar den lille rackaren sin "djävulsdans" i flaskan.
Den fysiska bakgrunden:
Trycket på flaskan fortsätter i vattnet och driver vatten genom stjärtöppningen in i flaskdjäveln. Luftvolymen minskar och djävulen sjunker. Om trycket på flaskan minskar expanderar luften i djävulen, trycker ut vattnet igen och djävulen stiger upp igen. Vattentrycket skapar en "dansande effekt".

How do you use the bottle devil?
Fill a regular plastic bottle with a screw cap completely with water and let the bottle devil, also known as the Cartesian dancing devil, discovered in 1640, slide into it.
Now press on the side of the plastic bottle - and the little rascal begins his "devil dance" in the bottle.
The physical background:
The pressure on the bottle continues in the water and drives water through the tail opening into the bottle devil. The air volume decreases and the devil sinks. If the pressure on the bottle decreases, the air in the devil expands, pushing the water out again and the devil rises again. The water pressure creates a "dancing effect".
