These are places I've visited around the world that have given me inspiration. In my opinion, they are worth visiting.

McQueen Rescues - Crete (Greece)

During my vacation in Crete (one of Greece's most beautiful islands) I saw lots of homeless cats and dogs and felt I needed to do something to help them. When I sought help for a cat family I also found a new friend who loves animals like me.

I love art but I also love animals. I have long wondered how I could combine these two things.

Alexandra and her mom from the McQueens Rescues made a huge impression on me and saw what a fantastic job they do for homeless cats and decided to sell some of the items in the store as charity. The entire amount of the charity items will go to McQueens rescues and every person who contributes by buying something in the PapayaRebel store will receive a proof receipt for the transaction to the cat shelter.

Items that are part of the charity project will have a blue frame with the McQueens logo in the upper right corner. This way you will be able to more easily distinguish which items are sold for charity and which organization they go to.

Greece (Crete) - Caldera Beach Hotel "The Bar"

I celebrated my birthday at the Caldera Beach hotel bar overlooking the pool with delicious drinks that Olga made. Sex on the beach and Sherly temple were definitely my favorites.

I was served a drink in a fun ceramic cup. It can be bought at the Ceramic factory near the hotel.

A fun and clever thing in the bar are straws made of pasta and no, the straws do not taste like pasta and are a much better alternative than plastic or paper where paper straws quickly get wet and sticky.

Another thing that I will miss is all the delicious desserts. So many different ones and every day a new one to taste.

Greece (Crete) - Restaurant at the Caldera Beach Hotel

A very nice buffet restaurant. The interior is interesting and filled with food-related decorations and art. Whether you sit alone and eat or with company, there is always something interesting to see around.

I have been to many buffets but this buffet exceeded my expectations. It is the best buffet so far. Every dish I tried tasted good. You can clearly see that each dish is well thought out and not just something someone pulled together. In addition, the food is fresh and there is something for all tastes. You can order gluten-free food that is also delicious. The dishes are decorated and laid out in a nice way. Perfect buffet that stimulates all the senses.

If that was not enough, the employees are incredibly nice and helpful. Especially heartwarming was Anastasia in the kitchen who showed great commitment to her job and was helpful.

Vaso who works with serving, served not only a nice table to eat at but a nice smile and friendly welcome.

Both of these ladies should get the restaurant employee of the year award for their dedication.

The restaurant manager was on hand every day to welcome guests and was ready to help. A very well-coordinated team of employees and management.

Greece (Crete) - Ceramic Factory

5 min from Caldera Beach Hotel (Crete). There is a small shop run by a skilled and creative gentleman. The artistically gifted Greek has created thousands of unique and beautiful things in ceramics. Definitely a place you must visit when you are in Crete.

The Caldera Beach Hotel is a great hotel for all age groups. There are activities for children, adults and seniors. The hotel facilities have various interesting art objects that make the hotel an interesting place to stay if you are interested in art. The hotel's green area is well-maintained with beautifully trimmed shrubs and trees in various geometric shapes. The staff at the hotel are very nice and helpful with a warm greeting smile that comes from the heart. I will definitely visit this hotel again.

Karl & Kristinas Trädgård

Karl & Kristinas Trädgård is a rustic, elegant and cozy restaurant with not only good food and friendly staff. The restaurant is also filled with nature-inspired art that is also available for purchase. The artist is Carina Esk. If you are in Stockholm and like good food and art, this is the perfect place to visit.

Baby created by the artist Hanna Hansdotters. Stockholm (Sergels torg)

In Stockholm (Sergels torg) stands a large sculpture in a lovely bright pink color. This beautiful sculpture is called Baby and is created by a Swedish artist Hanna Hansdotters.

Baby is made of recycled aluminum. Recycling materials and creating art is worth noting, which Hanna and Baby have been able to do in, among other things, Vogue magazine.

Restaurangen Heng Kingen (Handen/Stockholm

Today I ate at the restaurant Heng Kingen in Handen (Stockholm). It is one of my favorite restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they had redone the interior of the restaurant. Very well done and very nice decorations to look at while enjoying the food. Warmest recommendations for this restaurant.

Harbour Island - The Bahamas

Harbour Island is one of the most beautiful islands in the Bahamas. There you will not only find the world's pinkest beach but also a lot of other beautiful things to see. If you are in the Bahamas, this island is a must see.

On the small island you will find a store called Shine. The store consists of two houses. The houses are neutrally painted in white and gray, but if you enter the houses you can see all the colors of the rainbow. Ornaments, jewelry and clothes in all shapes and colors. Beautiful detailed decoration in ceramics, glass, porcelain and many more.

There is both new art but also antiques from all corners of the world and a lot of unique objects. The store is run by a nice woman who is an artist and has herself created some of the art that is available for purchase.
