Jean-Marie Luc Blanpain (1947–2021) was a French artist and painter, primarily known for his connections to the port city of Honfleur in Normandy
He often worked with oil on canvas and etchings. His motifs often depicted marine environments such as sailboats, harbors and cityscapes from Paris or Honfleur.
In Honfleur he was regarded as a "caustique" (biting or ironic) personality and one of the last great painters to truly define his era in the city. His works regularly appear at international auction houses.

Today I got to see a funny painting in a shop. The painting reminds me of a bakery in Gamla Enskede in Stockholm where I bought buns several times. The artist's name is PER OLOF OLSSON.
